From north to south, on the road to discover the Etruscan Coast, on board the vehicle that combines freedom, comfort and safety, the camper van. Travelling with no worries, neither before leaving nor during, thanks to a tour-folio to the itinerary tailored to your needs and to the customisation, booking and assistance service 7/7. The only thing you need to do is have fun and relax on this stretch of coastline bathed by the crystal-clear waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea, lapped behind by the green hills of the Livorno Maremma, pervaded by the unmistakable wild charm of the Maremma area. A week of soft outdoor activities and relaxation by the sea and at the thermal baths, of enchanting trips to medieval villages such as Sassetta, Castagneto Carducci and Campiglia Marittima, or to even more ancient towns such as Populonia, the only Etruscan town overlooking the sea, whose ancient remains can still be admired today in the archaeological park. An excursion on board a small train into the bowels of the earth in the San Silvestro Archaeo-Mineral Park and all this is then topped off with authentic food and wine, savouring them with a wine tour through the vineyards and tasting, a host of excursions, easy and affordable for everyone, to suggestive places, and a touch of adventure in the waves to be ridden on a surfboard or sup.

Travelling with children? Tuscany’s largest amusement park and the San Silvestro archaeo-mineral park will punctuate the trip for young and old alike.

• Day #1 Pisa – Marina di Bibbona

Autonomous arrival in Pisa
START OF SERVICES

Transfer service from the airport or train station to the camper pick-up location in the afternoon. Brief introduction of the camper’s functions and departure for Marina di Bibbona. Relaxation by the sea and overnight stay in an equipped camper van area for a fee.

Includes: transfer service, campervan hire.
Not included: arrival trip to Pisa, meals, overnight stop.

• Day #2 Marina di Bibbona – Bolgheri

Full day in the Terre del Marchesato; private wine tour & tasting among the vineyards of the nearby Bolgheri, famous for its wines, and free tour of the village.

Optional: by appointment birdwatching and guided excursion to the Bolgheri Marshes, WWF Oasis in certain periods of the year.

Overnight stay in agri-camping in Bolgheri.

Includes: campervan hire, wine tour & tasting, overnight stay.
Not included: birdwatching and excursion to the padule, meals.

• Day #3 Bolgheri – Marina di Castagneto Carducci

Departure and arrival in the nearby Marina di Castagneto Carducci for a day of sea and relax, ideal spot for a sea excursion by sup or learn to surf, with the help of the present surf school. Aperitif on the beach at sunset.

Stop for the night in a paid equipped area in Marina di Castagneto Carducci a few steps from the sea.

Includes: camper hire, surf/sup hire (2 hours), aperitif.
Not included: surf/sup lessons, meals, overnight stay.

• Day #4 Marina di Castagneto Carducci – Castagneto Carducci

Transfer by public transport to Castagneto Carducci, free visit of the medieval village.
Suggested half-day trekking in the beautiful surroundings of the village.

Stop for the night in an equipped area at Marina di Castagneto Carducci, a short walk from the sea.

Includes: campervan hire, gpx tracks and directions for the trek on your own.
Not included: guided trekking, meals, public transport transfer, overnight stay.

• Day #5 Marina di Castagneto Carducci – Campiglia Marittima

In the morning departure for nearby Sassetta, free visit to the medieval village. Relaxation in the natural thermal baths set in a unique context and access to the estate and farm.

Suggested short botanical trekking in the natural area near the village of Sassetta.

Departure for the village of Campiglia Marittima and overnight stop in an equipped area in Campiglia Marittima.

Includes: campervan hire, gpx track and directions for the soft trekking, access to the spa&spa and the estate and farm.
Not included: guided trekking, meals, overnight stay.

• Day #6 Campiglia Marittima – Gulf of Baratti

Visit and excursion of historical, archaeological, geological and naturalistic interest to the San Silvestro Archaeo-mineral Park, on board a small train to discover the bowels of the earth, the mining galleries and the medieval village of miners. Free visit to the medieval village of Campiglia Marittima.

Departure for the Gulf of Baratti and overnight stop at an agri-camping.

Includes: campervan hire, entrance ticket to the archaeological and mining park, overnight stay.
Not included: meals.

• Day #7 Gulf of Baratti

Transfer by public transport to Populonia and free visit to the Etruscan village, the medieval tower and the archaeological park.
Weather permitting, swim at Buca delle Fate, a stretch of coastline with cliffs overlooking the sea steeped in charm and legend with Etruscan remains along the way, reached by a short walk through the Mediterranean scrub.

Stop for the night at an agri-camping in Baratti.

Includes: camper hire, gpx track and directions to Buca delle Fate, overnight stop.
Not included: entrance fees to the archaeological park and the tower, public transport tickets.

• Day #8 Gulf of Baratti – Pisa

Departure from Baratti to check out the camper by morning, transfer to Pisa airport and train station.

Includes: transfer.
Not included: return trip from Pisa, meals.

The activities and facilities included in the package are in full compliance with the current health regulations covid-19.
