Travelling on the road in the fascinating Terre di Pisa, admiring villages such as Volterra, Peccioli and many others and hillsides combed by the geometry of vineyards and olive groves. Not only that, but also to enjoy them! Tastings of the products of the land, such as high quality wines with geographical indications or designations of origin and Igp olive oil, and truffle hunting, will make you appreciate this land with all five senses. While walks and easy treks, if you wish, will lead you to the discovery of precious natural treasures, such as the Berignone Nature Reserve and the San Rossore Regional Park, which has a rich population of fallow deer, which are quite easy to spot. On the other hand, if you haven’t seen it yet, why not immortalise the Leaning Tower, the symbol of Pisa in the world?

Travelling with children? An adventure park and a prehistoric park will add a touch of rhythm to the trip for young and old.

• Day #1 Pisa – Peccioli

Autonomous arrival in Pisa
START OF SERVICES

Transfer service from the airport or train station to the camper pick-up location in the afternoon. Departure to discover the Pisan hills, on the Wine Road, passing by lovely villages and castles, towards the contemporary art village of Peccioli.

Stop for the night in an agri-camping in the surroundings of Peccioli.

Included: transfer service, camper hire, overnight stop.
Not included: arrival trip to Pisa, meals.

• Day #2 Peccioli – Volterra

In the morning, private truffle experience, truffle hunting and lunch with tasting menu based on the king of mushrooms. On the way to the Etruscan city of Volterra, with a stop at the Teatro del Silenzio in Lajatico, a natural amphitheatre with a special setting, surrounded by the most beautiful landscapes of the Tuscan countryside.

Stop for the night in an equipped camper van area on the outskirts of Volterra.

Included: private truffle experience, campervan hire.
Not included: breakfast and dinner, overnight stop in camper service area.

• Day #3 Volterra

Suggested free visit of Volterra, its museums and archaeological area.

Optional: soft trekking and bathing in the river (season permitting) in the nearby natural reserve Foresta di Berignone.

Stop for the night in an equipped camper van area on the outskirts of Volterra.

Included: campervan hire, gpx track and directions for the trek on your own.
Not included: eventual guided tour and guided trekking, Volterra card for entrance to museums, meals, overnight stop in camper service area.

• Day #4 Volterra – San Rossore Park

Departure from Volterra, guided wine and food tour from the vineyard to the barrique cellar and wine tasting. Travelling through the green heart of Tuscany, among rolling hills and a glimpse of the sea, towards the Migliarino, San Rossore, Massaciuccoli Regional Park.

Optional: soft trekking in the nature surrounding the villages of the Val di Cecina.

Stop for the night in agri-camping in the park.

Included: campervan hire, visit and food and wine tasting, overnight stop.
Not included: guided trekking, meals.

• Day #5 San Rossore Park, Pisa and surroundings

A free multi-day choice to dedicate to a walk, bike ride or horseback ride in the nature of the park, to relax on the beach in the nearby coastline or to visit the city of Pisa.

Stop for the night in an agri-camping in the San Rossore Park.

Included: camper hire, gpx track and directions for soft trekking in the park on your own, overnight stay.
Not included: any guided tours or excursions/rentals, meals.

• Day #6 San Rossore Park – Vicopisano

Departing from the park on the Monti Pisani oil road, discover a beautiful monastery and pretty villages or a dip in the enveloping thermal waters.

Stop for the night in an equipped camper van area in Vicopisano on the outskirts of the village.

Included: campervan hire.
Not included: any guided tours or access to the thermal baths, meals, overnight stop in camper service area.

• Day #7 Vicopisano

Free visit to the village of Vicopisano, oil tasting and sampling at an ancient oil mill.

Stop for the night in a camper service area in Vicopisano on the outskirts of the village.

Included: campervan hire, visit to the oil mill and tasting.
Not included: guided tours, meals, overnight stay in camper service area.

• Day #8 Vicopisano – Pisa

Departure from Vicopisano to the headquarters to check out the camper by morning, transfer to the airport and train station in Pisa.

Included: transfer.
Not included: return trip from Pisa, meals.

The activities and facilities included in the package are in full compliance with the current health regulations covid-19.
